Use this dialog to enter alternate apportionment for this state. The information you enter in these fields take precedence over any entries in the Apportionment Information spreadsheet for this state.

To open the Single Factor and Special Methods dialog, choose View > Apportionment > Missouri tab. Click the Single Factor and Special Methods button. Note that you must have a 1065-MO client open to open this dialog.

Single Factor / Method Two Apportionment group box

UltraTax CS uses information entered in these fields to complete form fields and answer questions when using Method Two – Business Transaction Single Factor Apportionment.

Entries in this field apply to Method Two - Single Factor Apportionment and transfer to Form MO-MSS, Part I.

Enter an explanation reconciling the Form MO-MSS, Method Two - Part I, Single Factor Apportionment total amount with specific data on federal Form 1065.

Single Factor / Method Two A Apportionment group box

UltraTax CS uses information entered in these fields to complete form fields and answer questions when using Method Two A – Optional Single Sales Factor Apportionment.

Mark this box to use Method Two A – Optional Single Sales Factor Apportionment. When this box is marked, UltraTax CS uses information entered in the Missouri and Everywhere Destination Sales w/in State / Gross Receipts fields on the Sales tab of the Apportionment Information spreadsheet.

Special Methods group box

UltraTax CS uses information entered in these fields to complete form fields and answer questions when using a special apportionment method.

Choose a special method listed in the drop-down list.

Enter an explanation of the apportionment method chosen in the Apportionment method field.

If you select one of the special apportionment methods 3 through 7 in the Apportionment method field, enter the apportionment ratio in this field.
