When does UltraTax CS automatically complete the ERO Firm Name field on the IRS e-file Signature Authorization form?

Answer

UltraTax CS completes this field when the taxpayer provides the Electronic Return Originator (ERO) authorization to enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN). UltraTax CS automatically generates the information in this field when code 2 (ERO entered Taxpayer PIN) is selected in the PIN authorization indicator field in Screen ELF.
