California allows a refundable Earned Income Tax Credit for taxpayers who meet certain criteria. Based on information entered on Screen CAEIC and elsewhere in the input screens, the EIC - Criteria to Qualify Worksheet calculates to determine if the taxpayer is eligible to claim the credit. If the taxpayer is eligible, UltraTax CS calculates related worksheets and Form 3514, California Earned Income Tax Credit. Use Screen CAEIC as needed.
