Computation of Current Year Loss

Federal data entry and amounts you enter on the INAdj screen calculate Indiana’s Form 1045A-NOL and Schedule IT-40NOL. Use this section to force the amounts on Indiana Form 1041A-NOL. For more information, see Calculating a current year Indiana NOL.

Utilization of Current Year Loss

If the taxpayer has an NOL and taxable income in the current year, you can ignore the current-year NOL to treat the carryover as zero. For more information, see Ignoring NOL generated in current year when there is taxable income.
