New (tax) year, new help!

New Jersey does not require you to sign Form NJ-8879, but it is available if you want it for your records. You can suppress printing Form NJ-8879 globally by choosing Setup > 1040 Individual > New Jersey tab > Other Return Options, and check the box to Suppress printing of NJ-8879 E-file Signature Authorization. You can also suppress the form on a client-by-client basis by checking the box to Suppress printing of NJ-8879 on the NJELF screen in the Electronic filing folder.
