Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

Forms included in the e-file

The Illinois Department of Revenue and UltraTax/1065-IL support electronic filing for the following forms:

  • Calendar year returns
  • Fiscal year returns
  • Extensions (IL-1065-V)
  • Estimates (IL-1065V)

Electronic filing is supported for the current year and two prior years only.

Forms not supported for e-filing

The Illinois DOR does not support electronic filing for the following types of forms:

  • Amended returns,
  • Short year returns,
  • PDF attachments are not permitted
Note: Schedules K-1 issued to the partners are not included in the e-file. However, Schedules K-1 that were received by that partnership are required to be included in the e-file. Data entry for these Schedules K-1 can be found on Screens ILK1 through ILK1Frgn.

Payment methods

Illinois DOR supports payment information in the electronic file and a balance due can be made by electronic funds withdrawal (EFW). Payments can also be made via check or electronic funds transfer (EFT). Note that if payment exceeds $20,000 then EFT is required. Direct deposit is also available for any refunds.
