Downloading and installing licenses via CS Connect

New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

If any of the following changes have occurred, you need to update your licenses.

  • The purchase of an additional license.
  • A change to your network configuration.
  • A change in the licensee, firm name, or firm address.

To download and apply updated licenses, complete the following steps.

  1. Choose Utilities > CS Connect.
  2. Set the Retrieve licenses switch to Yes.
  3. Click the Connect button to download your licenses.
  4. Follow the prompts to install the licenses.

Note: If you also purchased licenses for FileCabinet CS, Fixed Assets CS, Planner CS, or ToolBox CS, the following process installs the licenses for these applications as well. There is no need to repeat the process from within each application.
