New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

1. Connect to the internet using your existing LAN connection. If your connection is provided by an internet service provider (ISP), launch that connection.
2. Minimize your internet browser.
3. Start UltraTax CS.
4. Choose Utilities > CS Connect, and then click the Communications Setup button.
5. In the CS Connect - Communications Setup dialog, click the Direct (LAN) Connection to Internet option.

   Note: Mark the Internet connection is always online checkbox if your computer is always connected to the internet.

6. Click OK.
7. Select the appropriate options in the CS Connect dialog, and click the Connect button.
