Error code COP0-004: Entity ID not found on system or Account ID not found for account 3
Resolution
Contact the Philadelphia Department of Revenue to verify that the city account number is correct. If it is correct, the city can provide more information on the cause of the rejection.
Notes
- For School Income Tax (SIT) returns, the taxpayer needs to paper file the return and register with the Philadelphia Department of Revenue. By registering, the return should not be rejected the following year when filing electronically.
- When both SSN and EIN are listed on the NPT and BIRT returns for individuals, the account number is associated with the EIN. If the account number should be associated with the SSN, remove the EIN from Screen PANPT or Screen PABRT.
