New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

Follow the instructions below to allocate an asset to a partner(s).

1. Access the Asset tab under the appropriate activity.
2. Click the Add button to add an asset(s), and click Done when finished.
3. Choose Setup > 1065 Allocation.
4. Click the Edit button.
5. Click the Select Assets button.
6. Highlight the asset, click the Select button to move it to the right-hand side of your screen, and click OK.
7. Click the Enter Special Allocations button.
8. Click Continue.
9. Select the allocation scheme and allocate to the desired partner(s), then click OK.
10. Click Enter.
11. Click Done.
