New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

If a user-defined status event has been set up under Setup > Office Configuration > Status tab, and its text matches the text of an UltraTax CS event that is logged automatically by the program, then that user-defined status event will not log to the client when printing the return or Organizer through File > Print Returns (or File > Print Organizers).

Example: A user-defined status event is setup and called "Return printed," which is an event already setup by UltraTax CS and that the program automatically logs. If this user-defined status event is selected when choosing File > Print Returns (or File > Print Organizers), then this event will not be logged to the client. However, the UltraTax CS - Return printed event, will be logged to the client.
