New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

Use the Data Entry tab to set various data-entry options for this user. These options control such items as how the ENTER key behaves, the movement of the cursor in the asset module's Asset tab, and which forms appear in tax data entry. Some options are selected by default.

To open this tab, choose Setup > User Preferences > Data Entry tab.

Note: Highlight an option to see an explanation of that option in the box below the list.

Fields & buttons

Available options

Lists the available data entry options. Mark and clear the checkboxes as desired. The box below provides a description of the currently highlighted option.
