New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

To create an e-file of a return that was previously a member of a consolidated return, follow these steps:

1. Go to the ELF screen, in the Electronic Filing folder.
2. Unmark the File this return electronically field.
3. Enter or tab to the next field.
4. Re-mark the File this return electronically field.

This will clear the link that attaches the return to the consolidated return and allow you to create the electronic file.
