Use the tabs in this dialog to set the page layout and shading options for the following items.
- Gov't, Client, and Preparer tabs: Use these tabs to set the options for the tax return collations.
- Organizer tab: Use this tab to set the options for the organizer pages if you are licensed for the 1040 Client Organizer.
- Input screen tab: Use this tab to set the options for the input screens.
- Other tab: Use this tab to set the options for printing client reports. Options set in this tab also apply to letters created using Data Mining.
To open this dialog, click the Page Layout and Shading button in the Print Options tab.
Fields & buttons
Duplex - 2 printed pages per sheet (Gov't forms P1 & P2 use front / back)
Duplex - 2 printed pages per sheet (all forms use front / back)
Begin each client document and slipsheet on its own page
2 Up - 2 printed pages per sheet (front only)
2 Up Duplex - 4 printed pages per sheet (2 front / 2 back)
Notes:
- If you choose any of the duplex printing options, note that some combinations of operating system and printer cause the back page to print upside down. If this occurs, open the Select Printer dialog in the Print screen and select the appropriate option from the Invert duplex page 2 for field.
- If you choose to print selected pages, only the shading options on the Other tab in the Page Layout and Shading dialog will apply.
