Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the return and if additional apportionment information is required.

To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.

Fields & buttons

General information group box

UltraTax CS uses the information you enter in this group box to complete form fields and answer questions that are not addressed in the Apportionment spreadsheet.

Select one of the methods listed in the drop-down list. UltraTax CS calculates Schedule H-1, H-2, or H-3 based on the method chosen.

2 Gross receipts ratio
3 Section 12-6-2310 companies

Alternate apportionment group box

Use the fields in this group box to use alternate apportionment for this state. The information you enter in these fields takes precedence over any entries in the Apportionment spreadsheet for this state.

Enter the South Carolina and everywhere amounts if using the gross receipts ratio method of apportionment or the Section 12-6-2310 companies method of apportionment. UltraTax CS uses the information entered to complete Schedule H-2 if you selected the gross receipts ratio method on the South Carolina tab, or Schedule H-3 if you selected the Section 12-6-2310 companies method on the South Carolina tab.
