How do I generate Form 1120-REIT?

Answer

Form 1120-REIT for a real estate investment trust is generated when you select Real Estate Investment Trust as the entity type in the File > Client Properties dialog. The same input screens used by a corporation are also available for a real estate investment trust, with a few exceptions. There are additional input screens available in the 1120REIT folder to complete Form 1120-REIT. Dividends must be entered in Screen REIT. Gross rents may also be entered in Screen REIT and Screen Rent.
