When you enter assets in the asset module, the application automatically skips the Asset # field and places the cursor in the Description field. Perform the steps in this procedure to have the application automatically place the cursor in the Asset # field instead of the Description field (if, for example, you want to assign your own asset numbers).
- Choose Setup > User Preferencesasset module to set user preferences.)
- In the Data Entry tab, mark the Begin Data Entry on Asset Number field checkbox.
- Click OK.
