New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

Starting in UltraTax CS 2022 a refund resulting from an amended return can be deposited directly into either a checking or savings account. 

Prior to UltraTax CS 2022 any amended returns cannot be deposited directly into a bank account. This is the case even if you e-file.

1. Go to Separate Filings, then Amend.
2. Mark the Direct deposit amended (or superseded) refund checkbox.
3. Go to General, then Bank.
4. Verify the banks accounts.
5. Verify any allocation data if there are multiple accounts.
