Customizing a blank organizer package

Complete the following steps to customize the organizer forms you would like to include in the blank organizer package.

  1. Choose Setup > 1040 Individual.
  2. Click the Organizer tab.
  3. Click the Organizer button in the Collation group box. The Return Collation dialog appears.
  4. Highlight the desired items in the list and mark the Include in blank Organizer checkbox below the Print conditions group box.


  • The forms are listed in the order that they will print. To change the print order, highlight an item in the list, then click the Move Up or Move Down button to move the item up or down in the list.
  • You can also elect to print or email default blank organizer packages for all new clients.
  • For Electronic Client Organizer users: You cannot include Asset Listing > Disposition, Asset Acquisitions, and the Asset Report pages in the default blank organizer package.
  • If you chose to include the Income Summary and/or the Interest/Dividend Summary Report in the blank organizer package and selected the applicable options in the Options dialog available via the Setup > 1040 Individual > Organizer tab, the Summary Report(s) will be included in the default blank organizer package instead of separate forms.
  • Nonresident alien forms only print on Nonresident Alien or Nonresident Alien (EZ) returns.
