For Pennsylvania tax purposes, the total on Schedule M, Rentals must equal Schedule E totals. Since allocation is entered on the PARent screen, the Schedule E amounts are what transfer to Form PA-65, Part III, line 6. Therefore, adjustments made on Schedule M must also be adjusted on Schedule E via the PARent screen. When any type of income is reclassified as rent and royalty income on the PAM1 screen, that income must also be added as income to the PARent screen.
