Can prior-year FinCEN Forms 114 be electronically filed using UltraTax CS?

Answer

For tax year 2013 and future years, FinCEN Form 114 can be electronically filed using the applicable year of UltraTax CS. For example, if a 2013 FinCEN Form 114 needs to be electronically filed in the 2022 tax year, you can use 2013 UltraTax CS to enter Form 114 information (including late filing reason if applicable) and transmit electronically via CS Connect.

For tax years 2012 and prior, the taxpayer will have to file Form 114 electronically using the BSA E-filing system.
