Depending on which operating system is in use, some printers will print back pages upside down when using the duplex printing feature. If your system configuration causes the back pages to print upside down, select the appropriate option from this field to correct the problem.

The options available in this drop-down list vary depending on the selected printer. Some potential options and their uses are discussed below.

  • If your printer has two paper trays, use one for letterhead stationery and one for blank paper. UltraTax CS prints client letters on paper from the alternate tray and prints all other items in the print collation on paper from the other tray. From the drop-down list, select an alternate tray.
  • To print an envelope, select Envelope.
  • To manually feed paper into the printer, select Manual feed.

Use this field to vertically shift the placement of a printed item on the paper. You can adjust the offset up to a quarter of an inch to the top or bottom in increments of one twentieth of an inch.
