New (tax) year, new help!

Fixed Assets and UltraTax CS 2023 help is now on Help and Support. We're still moving articles, but you can find most content for the 2023 tax year there. Continue using the Help & How-To Center for tax years 2022 and older.

You can use the Setup > Client Communications dialog to enter email addresses for your firm, your preparers and staff members, and your clients.

  1. Firm email address: Enter the firm email address in the Firm email address field in the Client Communications dialog. This address is used when sending tax return PDF files via email or transmitting files to NetClient CS.
  2. Client email addresses: Enter your clients' email addresses in the Email address column of the Client Communications dialog. You must enter client email addresses for clients receiving their tax return or client organizer in PDF via email or in NetClient CS.
  3. Preparer email addresses: Enter your preparers' email addresses in the Email address field on the Preparer Information dialog, which is accessible via the Setup > Office Configuration > Preparers tab.
  4. Staff email addresses: Enter your staff members' email addresses in the Email field on the Setup > Office Configuration > Staff tab.

Note: When delivering the client copy of a tax return to a client via NetClient CS, you can have UltraTax CS send a blind copy of the client's email notification to a combination of the client's assigned preparer, assigned staff member, and the firm email address as well as which of the three email addresses will be displayed as the email notification from address. To set the web delivery options, choose Setup > Client Communications and click the Web Delivery Options button.
