706-US: Purpose of the closing document (FAQ)

Mailing the closing document, along with Form 706, facilitates the processing of the estate tax return.

To prevent the closing document from printing, enter X in the Suppress closing document field on screen 706. This change applies to all returns.

Note: UltraTax CS only generates the closing document; the IRS will produce the amounts for the closing document.
