Note: Only authorised users can archive documents. Members of the Administrators group and the Record Managers group are considered authorised users.

Follow these steps to archive or remove archive status for GoFileRoom documents.

  1. Tick the checkboxes for any documents listed in the search results list or Document Tracking report that you want to archive or for which you want to remove archive status.

    Note: You can select up to 150 documents for archiving or removal of archive status.

  2. Right-click a selected document and click Archive Documents or Remove Archive Status.
  3. Click OK.

Internal notes

Firms are unable to remove archive status from local file links that were archived using an archive rule. Support should send requests to remove the archive status from these items to the GFR Systems Team with the following information.

  • Firm ID
  • Database ID
  • Document ID
