Installing the GoFileRoom Client Add-Ins

The GoFileRoom Client add-in includes the following commonly-used GoFileRoom Add-Ins.

If you have administrative privileges, you can follow these steps to install the GoFileRoom Client Add-In.

Prior to installing the latest GoFileRoom Client Add-In, verify that the prior version has been uninstalled. GoFileRoom functionality may be hindered if multiple versions of the Add-In are installed on the same machine.

Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework (or higher) must be installed on your machine to use the GoFileRoom Client add-in.

  1. If .NET 4.0 Framework (or highter) is not installed, download and install Microsoft .NET 4.0 from the Microsoft website External link. (What's this?)

  2. From within GoFileRoom, click your name in the upper-right corner of the screen and choose Client Add-In from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the internet security warning dialog that appears, click Run.
  4. The InstallShield Wizard will guide you through the remainder of the installation process. Click Finish to complete the installation and click Yes to restart your computer.

    In the License Agreement screen of the InstallSheild Wizard, you must choose EMEA from the Region drop-down list for the Digita version of the licence.

    Notes

    • The InstallShield Wizard provides you with the option to install all GoFileRoom Add-Ins at once, or to choose which Add-Ins to install.
    • Terminal Server Add-In installations are required to be run at the console as an Administrator.
