Enabling NetStaff CS users to work in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment

Show expandable text

You must complete the following steps to set up users to run applications in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment.

Note: Whether your firm licenses applications through Virtual Office CS or SaaS or leases applications through Software as a Service (SaaS) for CS Professional Suite, NetStaff CS users will run the applications in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment.

  1. If you haven’t already done so, create the NetStaff CS users.
  2. Do one of the following.
  3. Optional: Enable Microsoft Exchange for users who will synchronize data between Virtual Office CS or SaaS Microsoft Outlook and their Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile, or Palm devices.

Note: You must enable Microsoft Exchange for each NetStaff CS user. You cannot enable Exchange at the group level.

Each NetStaff CS user who accesses applications through Virtual Office CS or SaaS must perform some of the following tasks.

  • Install the Citrix ICA client.
  • If NetStaff CS users previously worked in locally installed CS Professional Suite or Microsoft Office applications, they need to migrate the data to the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment.

Your staff members can find detailed information about these processes in the Getting started with Virtual Office CS or SaaS topic in the NetStaff CS Help & How-To Center.
