Steve Strauss, CPA

Vice President, Finance & Administration, Professional Segment, Tax & Accounting, Thomson Reuters

Steve joined Thomson Reuters in 1995 as controller for the Tax & Accounting business. He was promoted to director of finance and administration in 1997, taking on responsibility for transitioning acquisitions, order processing, and non-tax related product renewals. In 2001, Steve advanced to his current role as vice president of finance and administration with responsibility for negotiating acquisitions, production and distribution, building maintenance, and building security.

He has more than 20 years of finance, accounting, and management experience. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, he worked as a senior auditor for Coopers and Lybrand and as a financial analyst for Electronic Data Systems.

Steve, who is also a CPA, earned a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
