Using the Idea Incubator as an employee:

  • The email address and password fields on the sign-in screen are for customers with a TR ID.
  • Employees should:
    • Use the Thomson Reuters employee sign-in option to sign in and post or vote on ideas.
    • Not submit ideas on behalf of customers.
    • Show interested customers how to use the site and enter their ideas for product changes or improvements.
    • Not ask other employees to vote on their ideas.
  • If you need to log in using the customer TRID login (for testing or troubleshooting), do not submit ideas, vote or comment on ideas.

Troubleshooting logins with a customer:

  • Can they log in successfully at tax.tr.com?
  • If they can log in there, but not at the Idea Incubator, try resetting the password.
  • Do they have NetStaff licenses? (Check Flash) If yes, make sure they're using their TR ID (used for the website and Onvio) and not their NetStaff login.
  • If nothing works, use LogMeIn Rescue to verify they're doing it right.
  • If still not working, get their TR ID and email cs.productexcellence@tr.com for additional help.
