The Idaho Department of Labor accepts EFT Debit and EFT Credit payments of unemployment taxes.
Employers making payments of $100,000.00 or more are required to pay via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
Employers making payments of less than $100,000.00 are not required to pay via EFT, but are encouraged to do so.

Payment and other information
Payments made by ACH/EFT must be in the State Treasurer's bank account on or before the due date unless the payment due date falls on a weekend or legal holiday. In those instances, the payment is due the next business day. Please allow at least 30 days prior to the first payment due date for initial set-up and approval.

As well as accepting ACH Debit or ACH Credit payments, the Idaho State Tax Commission accepts Credit/Debit Card and Electronic checks (e-checks) as forms of electronic payment. The third-party provider, Access Idaho, will charge a convenience fee for either of these payment methods. Payments by ACH Debit can be scheduled up to 90 days in advance, but no later than 3:45 p.m. MST on the business day before the payment is due.
