  • Registration is required with the Unemployment Insurance Employer Account System as a payroll service or accountant to get the file transfer option.
  • File format - ICESA
  • Navigate to the North Dakota Unemployment website. Sign in to E-File via UIeasy UI Tax Online Services.
Note: Enter the North Dakota Provider ID in the Transmitter Information dialog, accessed from the Actions > Process Internet/Magnetic Files screen.

Unemployment ID: 7 digits

Withholding ID: 11 digits starting with the EIN (minus dashes) then two digits
