ACH / EFT payment information
The Nebraska Department of Revenue accepts EFT Credit and EFT Debit payments of withholding taxes.
Employers who withheld more than $5,000.00 over the "lookback period" are required to pay via Electronic Fund Transmission (EFT).
Employers who withheld less than the mandatory threshold amount can file via EFT voluntarily.
How to apply
The Nebraska Department of Revenue does not require EFT users to apply for approval before submitting tax payment files. They do require a test transmission of $0.01 prior to making any ACH-Credit payments.

Batch filing is the only option supported for Nebraska in Accounting CS.
Registration is required with Nebraska Department of Labor by calling (402) 471-9000 to request the Electronic Filing User Guide. Complete the Nebraska Unemployment Insurance Tax Electronic Funds Transfer Registration and Application for FTP User Name and Password.
