Click any of the following commands from the Insert menu in the Transmittal Letter Editor to view information about that command.
Menu commands
Opens the Variables dialog, allowing you to insert a variable, which will be replaced by an actual value when the document is printed. This allows you to create one client document definition for many clients instead of having to create a new document for each client.
For a Write-Up CS or Trial Balance CS client
You may choose from five variable options: Amount, Text, Date, Periods, and Additional Amounts.
For a payroll-only client
You may choose from three variable options: Amount, Text, and Date.
Inserts the Billing Detail amount into the client document.
Inserts a page break at the point in the document where the cursor is currently located.
Opens the Insert Object dialog where you may select an object from the available list to insert into your document.
Among the most popular types of objects to insert are: PDF documents, bitmap images, Microsoft Excel worksheets, and Microsoft Word documents.
