Depending on the global privileges that your staff ID has been assigned in CSA, and whether or not you are accessing the Master Client Data (MCD) or Local Client Data (LCD), you can use the Engagement Properties dialog to perform such tasks as:
- Display engagement information on the General tab.
- Add, edit, or remove signoff information.
- Assign specific staff and signoff types in the current engagement.
- Assign workpapers and documents to specific staff members who are working in the field.
- Assign specific privileges to specific staff members who are assigned to the current engagement.
- View the historical activity that has taken place in the current engagement.
Choose File > Engagement Properties, or right-click the Engagement folder icon in the Tree View window and choose Properties from the context menu.
Special information
- Setting up group and staff privileges for users of Engagement CS.
- Without the appropriate privileges you can only view and add/edit/remove signoff information on the General tab in the Engagement Properties dialog. (See Setting up group and staff privileges for users of Engagement CS).
- Only signoff information can be updated when it is not in the Master Client data. All other fields are unavailable.
- Staff members can view the General tab and/or all tabs in the Engagement Properties dialog based on the group privileges that have been assigned for staff member(s) who are working on the Local Client Data in the field.
