  • You can paste in data from an Excel spreadsheet or you can enter it directly into the spreadsheet grid in this dialog.
    Spreadsheet Import [Utilities menu]
  • You can import many kinds of data, including adjusted budget balances; AccountWare codes that will convert to CSA tax code; (for a Trial Balance CS client only) grouping schedule codes and subcodes.
    And you can set up columns in any order within the spreadsheet grid.

  • You can save import column settings to use again for other GL or Trial Balance clients.

  • The application automatically verifies the integrity of the spreadsheet import data before completing the import procedure.

  • The Spreadsheet Import Analysis dialog opens automatically at the end of the import process.

  • You can import year-to-date balances by marking the checkbox at the lower-left corner of this dialog. The application calculates current-period activity based on any existing prior-period balances and gives the net change for the period.
