Licenses for Payroll CS, Trial Balance CS, and Write-Up CS (but not Engagement CS) permanently expired on March 1, 2017. CSA will not include 2017 tax rates or payroll forms, so, for 2017 and beyond, you will need to process payroll in another application. We recommend Accounting CS Payroll and myPay Solutions. Payroll Compliance module

The Retrieve Employee 940 Payroll Data dialog allows you to easily retrieve employee payroll information for the Form 940 from the database.

Choose Utilities > Payroll Tax Processing and then click the United States flag (940) icon in the shortcut bar on the left or choose View > 940. Choose Tasks > Retrieve Payroll Information while the Form 940 window is active.

Note: You can also enter payroll information manually on the displayed Form 940, overriding automatically retrieved data. Override data appears in red text in the Form 940 window. To delete overridden data, choose Edit > Overrides while the form window is active, and then select the appropriate override option.
