Some jurisdictions determine taxable wages by deducting a portion of FICA or federal withholding from gross wages, or by multiplying gross wages by a specific percentage. Use the Wage Adjustments tab of the Local Tax Information dialog to enter setup information for Payroll CS to use when calculating withholding amounts for these jurisdictions during payroll check processing.
Note: This dialog takes into consideration special Missouri requirements.
Choose Setup > System Configuration > Payroll Tax Information > Local. In the Local Tax Information dialog, select a locality and then choose the Wages Adjustments tab.

If the selected jurisdiction determines taxable wages by multiplying gross wages by a standard percentage, enter that percentage in this field.
If the additions to taxable wages method applies to the selected jurisdiction, enter the current amount for each of the categories in this grid. Payroll CS will add these amounts to taxable wages calculated before subtracting out the local taxes.
