Use the Select Workpapers dialog to select an engagement or to select folders and workpapers to include in the Notes Diagnostic Report or the Workpaper Diagnostic Report.

Choose File > Diagnostic Reports > Notes and click the Selected folders/workpapers button.

-or-

Choose File > Diagnostic Reports > Workpaper and click the Selected workpapers button in the Include group box of the Diagnostic Report dialog.

• All folders and workpapers are selected by default.
• When you open the Select Workpapers dialog the first time, the engagement in the Tree View pane is collapsed by default . Click the Expand Tree icon to expand the engagement and display all folders in the Tree View pane, or click the Collapse Tree sign to close sections of the expanded tree.
• Documents that are outdated in the engagement appear in red in the tree view. For details, see Refreshing engagement documents on demand.
