General information
Use the Integration tab of the Setup > Clients screen to specify the type of data to import for the selected client.
- The application uses the information selected in the Integration tab to determine if the client has been set up for data import or export.
- The Client Options dialog (accessed from the File > Export Transactions screen) contains the same options found in the Export Client Data Options dialog (accessed from this tab). Any changes that you make in the Client Options dialog are reflected in the Export Client Data Options dialog, and vice versa.
- You can export payroll and vendor transaction data from the application in a generic file format (IIF) that is readable by QuickBooks.
- Prior to exporting client payroll transaction data, you can specify the export options in the Export Client Data Options dialog (accessed from this tab) or in the Client Options dialog (accessed from the File > Export Transactions screen). For each client selected in the Export Transactions screen, the application exports data in a file format (XML or IIF) that is compatible with the application to which it is being exported.
- You can select General to export transactions to or import client data from applications outside of the CS Professional Suite. You can also use the General option to export and import payroll journal entries and reconciliation adjustments from one myPay Solutions Direct client to another.
