What is the difference between a myPay Solutions company holiday and a bank holiday?
A myPay Solutions company holiday is determined by the federal government standard calendar with the addition of parent company holidays. On those holidays, the office is closed and no processing is completed by staff.
A banking holiday is determined by the federal reserve office and include many of the same company holidays. Additional holidays, usually considered government holidays (because only government offices are closed), are also included. Banks are closed on these holidays and no processing is completed.

Your responsibility when a holiday falls on your check date or between your submission date and check date.
Your submission time will be moved up by one business day due to the holiday. A day for processing is lost because of the holiday. Three days for processing is still required by the bank.
Example
Your check date is Friday, November 12, 2021.
Your timesheet is normally due in by 2:00 PM EST on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
However, because of the Veterans Day holiday on Thursday, November 11, 2021, your payroll is due in a day earlier than normal, and is now due in by 2:00 PM EST on Monday, November 8, 2021.
