Change to CS Support service hours

Our Support department is closed on Friday, April 28th for a company event. However, limited Workpapers CS phone support is available on that date from 9 AM - 5 PM ET.

Errors may occur in the application when you attempt to open the Workpapers Dashboard. To enable access to the Workpapers Dashboard by staff without administrator privileges, the following changes must be made in the registry of the workstation in which these errors occur.

System.Security.SecurityException: Requested registry access is not allowed. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowSecurityException(ExceptionResource resource) at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.OpenSubKey(String name, Boolean writable) at System.Runtime.InteropServices.RegistrationServices.UnregisterValueType(Type type, String strAsmVersion) at System.Runtime.InteropServices.RegistrationServices.UnregisterAssembly(Assembly assembly)...

We recommend that you consult a qualified IT professional before modifying your registry as serious problems with your operating system can result if your registry is damaged.

Users must be given full control over the following registry folders and all descendants.

Note: You may receive a message indicating that some entries in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes folder cannot be updated. When this occurs, verify that the permissions for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\CLSID folder are set to full control.
