The users who can perform a variety of tasks can be limited to those who know a master password. The master password is set in the Security tab of the System Configuration dialog.

To set the desired security options, perform the following steps.

  1. Choose Setup > System Configuration.

Note: Depending on your security configuration, you might need to enter the master password before you can open the System Configuration dialog.

  2. In the Security tab in the System Configuration dialog, enter the master password and click Continue.
  3. Select from the security options as desired. Note that if you highlight an option, a brief explanation of the option appears in the box below.
  4. Click OK.

Tip: If you forget your master password, call 800-968-0600, follow the prompts to speak with a representative, and ask the representative to help you obtain a temporary password. You can then enter the temporary password in the Security tab of the System Configuration dialog, click the Modify button, and reset the master password.
