The users who can perform a variety of tasks can be limited to those who know a master password. The master password is set in the Security tab of the System Configuration dialog.
To set the desired security options, perform the following steps.
- Choose Setup > System Configuration.
Note: Depending on your security configuration, you might need to enter the master password before you can open the System Configuration dialog.
- In the Security tab in the System Configuration dialog, enter the master password and click Continue.
- Select from the security options as desired. Note that if you highlight an option, a brief explanation of the option appears in the box below.
- Click OK.
Tip: If you forget your master password, call 800-968-0600, follow the prompts to speak with a representative, and ask the representative to help you obtain a temporary password. You can then enter the temporary password in the Security tab of the System Configuration dialog, click the Modify button, and reset the master password.
