Emailing links to Word and Excel documents stored in GoFileRoom

Follow these steps to email a link to a GoFileRoom Word or Excel document while in edit mode.

  1. Open a GoFileRoom Word or Excel document in edit mode.
  2. In Word or Excel, choose File > Send To > Mail GFR link. Office 2007 users: Click the GoFileRoom tab in the Ribbon, and click the Mail GFR Link button in the toolbar.
  3. A new email message opens in Outlook containing a link to the document you are currently editing.
  4. Enter the recipient email address(es) and message text as desired. By default, the subject line includes the index information for the document you are sending as a link.
  5. Click the Send button.
