Manage your firm's upload account

Show expandable text

All GoFileRoom firms have an upload account labeled upload@yourfirm.com associated with your database. You can use this account with various utilities for the application such as the Lookup List Sync utility, File Importer utility, and the Upload Service. To provide better security for your firm's upload account, each firm is responsible for setting the password for this account.

To change the password for the upload account,

  1. Contact Customer Support and request that your firm's upload account be unhidden.
  2. Have a GoFileRoom Administrator go to Administration > Manage Users and Groups > Users.
  3. Select the upload@yourfirm.com account and change the password. You can also modify the permissions if needed.
  4. Contact Customer Support again to hide the upload account so it does not go against your license count.
  5. Update the password on any utilities that you have set up.

Note: If you use Virtual Office/SaaS, contact GoFileRoom Technical Support to update your utilities.

For VO/SaaS firms: Contact the GFR Systems team to have the password changed on utilities within VO. DO NOT save a firm's upload credentials within any internal system (such as Flash call logs, emails, spreadsheets, etc.).
