Through Digita NetClient, you can provide your clients with secure, static PDF files that they can view, download, and print. For example, you can deliver electronic copies of documents, such as tax returns, financial statements, and payroll reports, in a secure environment without jeopardizing privacy.

You can send documents to Digita NetClient from Digita FileCabinet . You can print files to Digita FileCabinet from any locally installed application .

When you send files to Digita NetClient, the user can find the files through links under the Documents heading in the navigation pane. The links are named by entity. The Digita NetClient user will see a New indicator to the right of the link that contains the new file, and he can follow the New indicators through the folder structure to the new file.

You can also give your staff access to specific clients’ documents through Digita NetStaff. Digita NetStaff users can access the documents by clicking the Document Presentation link under the Documents heading in the Digita NetStaff tab of the navigation pane.

Setting up Digita FileCabinet drawers to send documents to Digita NetClient

To make documents available through Digita NetClient for the first time, complete the steps in the following Digita FileCabinet topics.

• Designating a drawer as a contributor to Digita NetClient
• Choosing document or application folders for Digita NetStaff or Digita NetClient
• Transmitting documents to Digita NetClient — When you complete this procedure, Digita FileCabinet sends to Digita NetFirm a list of all drawers that are designated as contributors to Digita NetClient. You must complete this procedure before you can give Digita NetClient users or Digita NetStaff users access to clients’ Document Presentation files.

You can provide staff members with access to firm documents through Digita NetStaff. For example, you can create a drawer in Digita FileCabinet named "STAFF," designate the drawer as a Digita NetClient contributor, place firm documents in the drawer, and give Digita NetStaff users access to the drawer.
