Hiding data from groups of Digita NetStaff users

To hide Document Presentation files from all members of a Digita NetStaff group, follow these steps.

  • This topic explains how to hide Document Presentation files from all members of a Digita NetStaff group. To learn how to prevent individual Digita NetStaff users from accessing any data for a Digita NetClient user (not just Document Presentation files), see Giving administrative privileges to Digita NetStaff users.
  • Only the primary Digita NetFirm administrator can perform this task.

    The primary Digita NetFirm administrator is the person who was designated as your firm’s Digita NetFirm administrator on the purchase agreement.

  1. In the Admin tab of the navigation pane, click the Groups link in the Digita NetStaff section.

    Note: If you don’t see this link, you don’t have access to this area.

  2. In the Groups list, enter any part of the group name in the Find field, and click the group name. Digita NetFirm displays the group’s information on the right.

    Tip: Delete the entry from the Find field to view the full list of users.

  3. In the Settings section, click the Enable button for Client Exclusions.
  4. The Client Exclusions dialog lists all clients and companies for which data is available through Digita NetClient or Digita NetStaff. Mark the checkboxes for the clients or companies whose Document Presentation files you want to hide from this group of Digita NetStaff users.
  5. Click Enter.
