Viewing secure messages in File Exchange

If you received an email message stating that a secure message is available in your portal, follow these steps to view the message.

  1. In the Documents section of the navigation pane, click the File Exchange link.

    Note: If you don't see these items, you don't have access to File Exchange.

  2. In the File Exchange screen, click the File Transfers folder.
  3. If multiple subfolders appear within the File Transfers folder, see the email message that alerted you to the secure message to determine which folder contains the message.

    Note: If you are unable to find the subfolder that contains the message, the file transfer location might have expired, which causes NetClient CS to delete the folder and the files it contains. Refer to the email message about the secure message to determine the date on which the location was set to expire.

  4. Click the Message icon at the top of the File Exchange screen.
  5. Click the Close Close button button in the lower-right corner of the dialog to close the secure message.
