Cannot see the full printer name when trying to print from a Virtual Office CS application

Show expandable text

Due to the Print Dialog limitation in the length of the window, you may not be able to see the entire printer name if you are on Virtual Office CS or if your printer names are lengthy.

Because of the limitation imposed by different applications, the suggested workaround is to rename your printers by shortening the printer names.

To do this, perform the following steps.

  1. Choose Start > Setting > Printers.
  2. Right-click the printer name, and choose Rename.
  3. Enter a shorter name (for example, HP LaserJet 4si PCL6e can be shortened to HP 4si).
