Find Field dialog

Use this dialog to find a specific field in the main data-entry window. Based on the word or phrase that you enter and the options you select, Planner CS searches all federal and state data-entry or calculated field names, or the help for those fields, and displays a list of fields that include the word or phrase.

To open the Find Field dialog, do one of the following:

  • Click the Find Data Entry Field button on the toolbar.
  • Choose Edit > Find > Field.
  • Press CTRL+F.

Fields & buttons

Mark this checkbox to include all data-entry fields in your search. Planner CS searches these fields for the text that you entered in the Search Text field and, if it finds the text, displays a list of the search results.

Mark this checkbox to include calculated fields and title fields in your search. Planner CS searches these fields for the text that you entered in the Search Text field and, if it finds the text, displays a list of the search results.

Click this option to search field names. Planner CS searches the names for the text that you entered in the Search Text field and, if it finds the text, displays a list of the search results.

Click this option to search the context-sensitive help that is attached to the fields. Planner CS searches the help for the text that you entered in the Search Text field. If it finds the text, a list appears displaying the results of the search.
