Getting help with Practice CS

There are several ways to get help on using your CS Professional Suite applications.

The most comprehensive resource for information on using the application. Includes details on new features, procedures for various tasks, tips for increasing productivity and troubleshooting issues, alerts about timely issues, show-me videos, guides in Portable Document Format (PDF), and more. See Finding answers to your Practice CS questions.

In addition to providing quick access to the Help & How-To Center, the Help menu includes an "Additional Resources" submenu from which you can access the following resources.

Provides a Resources portlet that contains links to the Practice CS Help & How-To Center, getting started guide, user bulletins, CS Home Page, Support information, the Tax & Accounting Community (formerly ARNE), and application downloads. Additionally, the Home Dashboard provides tabbed views that facilitate access to the CS Home Page and the Tax & Accounting Community.

We offer training courses and consulting services for Practice CS and other applications. For a complete list of classes, visit the training and consulting page on our website.

Tax.ThomsonReuters.com provides information about our products and access to additional resources that can help you make the most of your software investment. These resources include:

  • The Tax & Accounting Community (formerly ARNE), an informal online forum where users of CS Professional Suite software can exchange ideas with other users from across the country.
  • Details on training classes and other services.
  • Blogs and articles on various topics of interest to professional accountants.
  • The My Account section, in which you can sign up for email subscriptions for relevant applications, track orders, and chat with a Customer Service representative on such questions as license renewals and bill payments.

In the Practice CS Library portlet, click the Help Videos & PDFs link, and in the Videos section click the link for the video you want to view. You can add this portlet to any dashboard by clicking the Select Portlets link, marking the Practice CS Library checkbox, and clicking OK.

Provide important information about changes to the application or other timely issues. You can view or print the bulletins from the Help menu or in the Practice CS Library portlet. More information.

The Suggestion Library provides a way to submit suggestions to the Practice CS Development team. You can also view suggestions submitted by others and vote on them. To access the Suggestion Library, click the Suggestions link in the Practice CS Library portlet. To participate in the Suggestion Library, you must register and log in (it’s free!).
